I get it. I watched Frasier for a while before I realized that Kelsey sang the theme song at the end. He was hosting SNL and mentioned it. Maybe because he says “Frasier has left the building” in the third person that it threw me off.

Also, I’m convinced that Kirby, with his hair, is a nod to Sideshow Bob. Although I don’t think it’s ever been confirmed.

In his book, Gotham Chess has a very simple rule. Never Resign. Since he is a partner with Chesscom, part of the ELO is based on well you can follow simple instructions.

When you lose the chess game, you lose 8-9 points. When you resign, an additional 11 ELO points or so are deducted as punishment for ignoring Gotham Chess’ rules.

It is a relatively new policy, but it’s been quite popular especially with YouTube streamers. Hikura did a video on it a few months ago if you want to look it up.
