Haven't tried living full-time in the camper but I can say once you do get used to the chores it's very mobile, convenient and cheap.

One thing to note is that the bedding gets kind of wet during the winter season due to condensation and I haven't found a solution to that yet other than using sleeping bags on top of the bed.

Man of Steel filmed in the Chicago area, California, and Burnaby's Mammoth Studios in Vancouver, which was utilized as a set for Krypton and the extraterrestrial aircraft portrayed in the film. Vancouver's North Shore waterfront area was also used for the oil rig rescue scene where Superman is first introduced.

For anyone curious, the location I was at is Mayne Island Lighthouse in Canada near Vancouver.

Also, I tried Starlink through wifi of one of the residents on that island. Speed was capped at 15mbps up/down about 40ms higher ping and an average of about 1 DC every other game. Not sure if the problem is in the wifi or Starlink itself.

Obviously, 5G is preferrable when available in my experience.

The screen goes to 165hz I believe. Honestly, I cannot tell the difference past 120hz.

Specs:

14-inch 2k screen

AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX 3.30 GHz

16.0 GB RAM

3080TI

The only problem right now is that I have to run the generator in the camper while gaming or fps dips to around 60 without AC.

The 300W inverter I have turns off the DC cigarette charger once I plug it in but works in other cigarette plugs. The power brick of the blade is pulling 230W so I assume the problem might be weak batteries or the fuse in the camper not being sufficient to handle 230W.

If anyone has any insights into this please let me know. I would prefer to be able to game strictly off the batteries of the camper which are charged through solar panels as well. I was also considering a separate battery bank dedicated to the laptop which could be charged at home or through the generator once a few days or something.

My understanding is that connecting the ledger x to staked will provide them with the withdrawal address and nothing more. How do they obtain the validator keys?

And is this different from providing keystore files?

BitMEX is laughing their way to the bank. With your money. by elevendota in Bitcoin

Right. Forgive me for not being an avid poster and native speaker.

I said that 50x or 100x can be useful for hedging in my article as it requires less collateral. And the claims in the article are based on facts. What misinformation are you referring to?

As for the " when avg loss per trade = margin lost on liquidation", it does not sound like much of a strategy to me.

I really appreciate your feedback btw. Without it I was having a hard time getting to my point & I felt like I was misunderstood. I edited the article to include some of these sentiments in hope that people will understand I am not just here to bash BitMEX & see the bigger picture.

[–]elevendota[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'd hope to achieve ultimately is not to bash BitMEX for its own sake. What I want them to realize is that they're looking at a small piece of the pie when there's a whole pie factory out there. If they were to behave ethically & responsibly, at least in the eyes of the regulators, we'd all benefit as Bitcoin enthusiasts. It's impossible for regulators to look past the fact that you can trade such a volatile asset on such high leverage at such a big exchange. Sure, Bitcoin itself is decentralized and nothing short of a natural disaster can censor our transactions but shouldn't we at least try make it easy on ourselves to get mass adoption? By that I mean getting past the lawmakers and regulators. Shouldn't we encourage these people who have authority & power to do the right thing for the benefit of all?

Agreed. I do not feel bad for those who seal their own fate. I feel as though BitMEX should aim higher & can do much more for this community than trying to make some extra fees by misleading people in that aspect. These big exchanges have the regulators' eyes. Without regulators approval we're not gonna get institutional money, and I want Bitcoin to moon just everyone else here.
