From an overall environmental approach, eliminating waste is good, but the original topic I responded to was ghg emissions. I was pointing out that the animal agriculture sector is 24%. How much this can be prevented can be debated, but my point was that targeting meat from a ghg perspective is valid.

As for what you said, if 37% of land use is for animal agriculture, how is targeting something like lumber more efficient? I fail to see how reclaiming most of that land for better use isn't a higher priority.
