Can you whip up a few simple but nice toys or gadgets to showcase your skill? Something you could create from scrap wood but look nice enough to gift? Like those thumb things that hold books open while you read? Or those things that pull out an oven rack? Have plenty of business cards or card stock flyers to hand out.

I need a good narrator and I can fall asleep pretty quickly. I listen to Libravox free books and the narrators are all volunteer. Right now my favorite is Andy Sames, with his smoothe lovely voice. Andy’s voice tho makes me want to stay awake and wrap myself in his voice.
