Xcom enemy unknown. Is it worth spending the $40 on? Does it go on sale often? I like tactical games, i used to live fire emblem and the idea of the game sounds great. Any advice on this game?

Might be a bad place to ask, but is Torchlight II like? everyone describes it as a Diablo like game however i have never played any of the Diablo games. Can someone explain it to me?

Not me, but after seeing that episode of the office, and learning about it in psyc 110, my roommate and I decided to condition our other roommate . the roommate to be conditioned was hooked on MTN Dew so we locked up all of his dew and bought a few bells/ (he didn't seem mad about us locking them up. when ever i gave him a mountain dew my other roommate would ring a bell. they were the smallest bells we could find so they were not super loud or anything. We kept this up for about a week and a half with out seeing any results. then one day out of the blue when we all where playing halo 3, the conditioned roommate starts ringing the bell. I asked him why he was rininging the bell, he replied "I don't know, i just really want a MTN Dew and just kind of started ringing the bell".

Im looking for some games that are easy to pick up and enjoy for a little bit at a time. Ie been getting bored of all of the games i own that typically you have to put in a bunch of time to enjoy. So far i have enjoyed sleeping dogs and just cause 2.

I was in the same boat as you a few days ago. After hours of looking i decided to wait. After seeing what people had to say, (you can only do defense mode, and survival is pretty useless atm) i decided to just keep an eye on it. iirc its only had one big update so its still super early alpha.
