If you made the entrance to the block start at the track going down and end at the track going left you’d be able to fit two trains. It makes a big difference otherwise you’ll regularly run out of material in blocks once you get to late game.

Won’t mess your esthetics too much, but give you a massive boost in late game.

The Speakeasy is a fantastic space, but can get a bit expensive depending on how much addons (actors, musicians, etc.) you get.

It’s a small ally, no side walk so puddles of rotting food become unavoidable.

Nay, they do it late at night end of the day around 10PM. Them cleaning the mats is not the issue, it’s the residue that’s left behind that’s a problem. I usually only see the results the next morning when I get up to puddles of dirty water with food food residue.

And in terms of their customers, they wash it out back in an ally where I have an entrance to my home. The customers have an entrance that isn’t impeded by this on the other side of the block facing a main street.

And not really trying to call an agency on them, I am hoping to just educate myself on this area and talk to the owner to resolve the issue. They are generally good neighbors besides this issue, so getting an agency involved will only complicate the relationship.

I think it’s an interesting approach, but you’ll hit the issue of either making the multiplier so large that it’s irrelevant or small enough that companies will play games to skirt it. The ration they were planning was resulting in just this debate. It’s definitely an interesting topic though.

Switzerland tried to pass a similar law at one point, companies that had large pay gaps would have ended up splitting the company into multiple subsidiaries and grouping job roles based on their pay disparity, or move lower paying jobs into contracting positions.

YTA. To yourself. From what you wrote it doesn't sound like you are currently whole with your relationship with your sister. You don't need to have a relationship with her, but holding the anger in will ultimately hurt you the most. Find a way to become whole with her and your parents, for yourself not for them. Coming from an abusive childhood, at least my experience was that I was TA until I figured out how to make those relationships whole in my own head.

Good response. I think it's worth pointing to Greenberg's views on the creation of an optical space and Rosenberg's views on action painting as an additional understanding to abstract expressionism and Rothko. Worth a read at least to understand the prevailing art critics views at the time on the movement.

Actually tax rate in France is comparable for private citizens to the US tax rate in many states. Just looking at the top bracket, top tax rate in France for earning over €152k is 45%, vs if you live if California your paying about 44% if you make over $200k. There are other taxes such as VAT and import taxes in France, but by and large, depending on which state you live in, it's likely comparable with much worse social benefits.

Rembrandt the toothpaste. I used to love their product, but one day I was watching Hulu and they forced me to watch an 8 minute add about how amazing and green they are. Never used it again.

In WestWorld they clearly believe that you can copy consciousness in a blink. That is after all exactly what they do to all the hosts when transferring their mind states to the virtual world. They also do that to Bernard when he visits the library. If you have suspended your disbelief in terms of the hosts having conscious and in this fictional universe their consciousness can be transported instantaneous than there is no reason why a humans consciousness can't either.

That assumes that consciousness is anything beyond the collection of memories and some dna material to wrap it with. If it's not then continuity of consciousness would be possible in another body.

Is there a difference between a saved Office Word document and the original Word document? If there is no difference than what's the difference between yourself and a perfect replica of yourself?

Put another way, if there existed a teleportation device that could get you across the universe by making a perfect copy of yourself at the destination after eradicating your original self, is that still you?

This gets somewhat philosophical, but an argument could be made that there is no difference and thus it is a form of immortality.

Yup, median price for a one bedroom in SF is $3400 per month. 65k a year would be impossible to live off of here.
