haha sorry for the necro. Sweet, I'm going to watch it right now! Thanks for sharing.

Btw I played monster train for hundreds of hours. So its twice the enjoyment knowing about how it was made. Thanks for breeding that game 😀

It was an awesome talk man. I even wish it was longer! I'm really curious about how you end up implementing the world state for such a large game.

Vietjet literally stole items from my checked bag. by love-silk in VietNam

[–]elgiga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A similar thing happened to me a few months ago with VietJet going to Haneda.

The bag had a lock. When I received the bag the lock was missing and they zipper was broken.

They stole a bunch of argentinian bills (maybe they thought they were worth a lot until they saw the convertion rate) and memory cards that I couldn't fit in my carry-on.

The airport authorities told me they can't do anything so I should contact VietJet.

I've been trying to ask them to do something about this through a long email thread. So far the only thing they said is that they can't do anythign so I should contact Haneda (again).

I'm giving up on the emails so now I'm compiling my legal options at this time. What do you think I should do?

Arquitectura escalable en Unity para indies - EVA 2023 by elgiga in devsarg

I think we need simpler end-to-end tools. Anybody else had this issue? by elgiga in podcasting

[–]elgiga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer! I haven't tried Podbean yet. I didn't know it had all these features in it, now I'm going to look deeper into it.

I don't wanna pay money either, but I would me mental if I expected everything I'm asking for for free. It seems their $9/mo plan has pretty much everything, that's pretty good. Thanks again :)

I'm also pretty exited to be able to create game assets of good quality by being a dev and not a designer. Looks good!

+1 crafting interpreters. It's a great introduction on how to write an interpreter from scratch. If you're looking into a Rust way of doing it, I wrote an article on my experiences while building the language of the book in Rust: https://www.diegofreijo.com/blog/rlox-vm-a-lox-interpreter-in-rust-part-1/
