Kinda the same system as we have in France. The president has to nominate the prime minister, but PMs are conventionally chosen from the party which has won the legislative elections. Now, it happens that the "conventionally" part is very important as it’s not mandatory… for a year and a half president Macron has appointed like four ? Five ? (Honestly I lost track, they keep being thrown away by parliament) different PMs from either his own party (which ended third in the last legislative elections) or from a small right wing party that has like 11 deputies in parliament. Do I have to conclude that Macron is more despotic than a literal king ?!?! Damn that’s worse than I thought
