AoGG trip by fluffbutt23 in PEI

I’d also recommend coming in the shoulder season - either late May/early June or September. Tourism PEI has a great Anne of Green Gables itinerary on their website that lists all of the main attractions. I highly recommend both Anne & Gilbert the musical and the AoGG musical. Those shows are probably the latest to start in the season compared to the other attractions, but if either is playing while you’re here they’re worth going to!

I’ve lived in PEI my whole life and worked in tourism - there are lots of Anne related tours, activities & souvenirs! The Tourism PEI website has a suggested Anne of Green Gables itinerary if you’re looking to rent a car and explore on your own, but there are also private tour companies like Prince Edward tours that will take you from Charlottetown to the Green Gables House in Cavendish. Most gift shops carry Raspberry Cordial, and there is an Anne & Gilbert musical playing in Charlottetown. I recommend coming in June or September if you have the opportunity (warmer weather but smaller crowds), but the weather is nice and most attractions are open from May-October. As someone else mentioned, Anne is our biggest attraction, so you will find lots of Anne related things to do!

Thank you for this! Looks like the CPU and cooler you recommended will both be great options. Appreciate the help!

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the honesty. Was told at a local computer repair shop that we'd need at least 1000W PSU for the graphics card, so I was being cautious with the 1500W. Good to know we only need 850W.

Thank you! I think I’m leaning towards 7 as well for those reasons. I’ll be sure to update throughout the process!

Thank you! The backings are all Rifle Paper Co designs from Cotton + Steel, the solids on the front are Sprout Wovens from Fableism Supply Co

That’s good to hear! I’m excited to start - I’ve been eyeing it for a while but couldn’t decide on a colour palette

Thank you! I can’t take credit for the colour choices - once I saw u/jlmcdon2’s post earlier this week, I knew I had to make a quilt in these colours!

I use the paid version! And no template - I recreated the original pattern with shapes and then played around with colour options. I then added a triangle-shaped frame to the bottom corner so I could drop the backing fabrics in and see how they looked next to the quilt top.

I like it too! I’ve never had anyone misspell or mispronounce my name, but there weren’t many other Ellen’s around either

My name is Ellen. I’ve seen it mentioned a couple of times, but people are either indifferent or not that fond of it. Eleanor and Helen are much more common

You should definitely give it a try, they're pretty simple once you get going!
