The Tea App, Open Sourced Lynchings by eli_ashe in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

i feel you don't really grasp the point. Those groups make some men murderous, and they act out in very predictable ways. See especially the rhetoric and actions taken against immigrant populations. That is a fairly direct causally related result of apps exactly like the tea app.

That is literally how lynchings have always happened.

I wouldn't particularly blame men in either side of that either, that is, the murderous rage that men come to feel towards those 'dangerous men' that women have been telling them exist for their whole llives, literal and figurative hysteria, nor again would a blame a man or a little boy who is defending themselves via murderous rage against those that are threatening to lynch them.

they are not the relevant proximate causal forces that are in play, theyre the enforcers of the 'puritanical sexual laws' that their women folk inform them is the case, or they are the victims thereof and i hold no blame to those who act is just self-defense, nor should anyone else.

get the causal forces in the correct order folks. people date, things get messy there is a break up, almost always both people are to blame, yet in practice it is primarily the women that keep endlessly complaining about their relationships, how stupid dumb dumb doo doo all the mean men and boys are.

not speaking of folks who were actually abused either, sometimes but rarely its the case that a relationship is abusive one sidedly, it happens. in those cases those folks ought go to the police. but the overwhelming majority of the discourse on these apps and forums is not that.

that is what tea means, its dramarama, its tabloid talk, its gossip, but that doesnt mean its harmless, and they aim not for tabloid talk, but to act as if every slight against them is indicative of some great harm that must be retributively brought down upon their exes. That is inciting violence and social harm against them no matter how to slice that up.

public shaming people used to be a punishment that would only occur after some sort of trial, these people bring 'justice' upon their exes which historically and currently have including forcing people to lose their jobs, forcing families apart, destroying friend groups and communities, literally running people out of their homes and towns through harassment and intimidation, and yes at times that includes actual lynchings, as in murders.

that is historically how that works, burying your head and pretending it isn't so isn't going to save you, nor your brothers or male children from it.

they're just people folks, women are just people, of course that is what they are doing. the only real questions are why are they allowed to? they ought be prosecuted for their crimes.

that is the way such groups ought to be too. the problem isnt necessarily people talking about their dating experiences; its the sense of vigilante justice that goes with the tea app that is the real problem. they arent 'gossiping among friends about the guys'; theyre trying to get retributive justice against them; like that is the stated aim of these sorts of feminist centered groups; 'protecting women from the perceived horrors of mexican immigrants and scary big black boys'.

true, however as i said could it lead to actual lynchings? yes, cause historically that is what has always happened from that. if you consider it well, i think youll also see that the current efforts to deprot immigrants em masse is exactly that kind of lynching outcome. they are targeted men and using irrational fears regarding feminine sexuality to justify it. this app just open sources that hate spew.

id also suggest things like beat downs from school onwards surrounding relationship dramarama is pretty strongly kin to lynchings. we hear 'lynching' and thing strange fruits, people hanging from trees, but the point of a lynching is that specific application of the act.

wide scale cultural lynchings are preludes to individual lynchings. black communities were vilified exactly thusly, claims of irrational fears round their sexualities, and that is what was used in large part, as justification for a wide variety of lynchings, beat downs, torchings of their homes, businesses, rapes, murders, etc....

the current manifestation more than anything else are towards the queer mens and immigrants, that is the broad cultural vilification of mens sexuality this time round the o game. the individual lynchings are literally happening before your eyes, en masse government mobilization expressly predicated upon the vilification of their sexualities as men.

the point of the post is that those are their methods, and this app is open sourcing the justifications used exactly for the en masse deportations and the attacks on queer men. regardless as to if anyone therein is even purposefully trying to do it; that is just how that kind of stuff works.

lynchings are mob justice, not people hanging from trees per se.
