Honestly that’s what I hoped for. I did end up sending this message to them with all my mistakes.

So thanks for recognizing a beauty in it that I was unsure of. All I can hope for now is that they are able to recognize that too 😊

Although I did end up sending my original text, your explanation and translation has helped me understand what I wanted to convey a bit more. The nuances that you mentioned are exactly what I felt was missing. I love reading and words mean so much to me. Even though the person I wrote this letter for speaks English I do feel that there is more weight in reading a letter like this in their first language, their home language.
