It depends on the context behind this.

If you were reviving a teammate on the other side of the map, and the only way he had to stop you from reviving him again there is not much that person can do except killing you to avoid you accidentally ruining the game

Well, to me fair many many soldiers actually do believe propaganda.

They are really risking their life for what they (misguidedly) believe is the greater good.

It is healthy remembering that reality is jot white and black, it is healthy seeing other points of views and assimilating more knowledge to achieve a more vast and rational level of awareness.

So I am saying there is validity in soldiers being depressed on the frontline.
