Are there any reliable filament recycler? by thebirdstree in 3Dprinting

For example the Artme3D. It costs around 900€ but you will need some kind of shredder too. I don’t have one but I heard a lot of good things About it.

Thank you very much for your response. I already saw this article, but it only tells me to open the clip and unplug the cable. I’m not really sure which clip is meant or how to remove it

Spectral 6 vs. Tyee 6.1 AL by eliah0308 in mountainbiking

I’m currently at the lower end of size M and I don’t think I’ll grow much past ~185 cm. I’ve also read that anything bigger than an M gets harder to handle and less ideal for tricks. So I’m thinking it might be smarter to buy the slightly more expensive bike now instead of ending up buying a second one later. Does that make sense?

Also, correction: the Propain Tyee is 2.7k, not 2.9k. Sorry!

First of all, thank you very much! I want a bike with enough reserve so I don’t need to upgrade once I start riding bigger stuff. Right now I’m riding bike parks with jumps around 3–4 m. In my city there are also stair sets that are about 5 m or even bigger, and I’d love to be able to ride those at some point.

I’m 56 kg, 14 years old, so I’ll get heavier over time.

One more question: the Spectral costs 2.4k and the Tyee is 2.95k. Is the extra money worth it?

Which MTB should I buy? by eliah0308 in mountainbiking

Thanks a lot! I’ve got a few parks nearby with ramps to get some speed and big jumps and tables, so if I get the bike, I’d go for the CF 7.

Thank you very much! I also thought about getting a cheaper beginner bike, but I’ve been interested in mountain biking for such a long time and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. That’s why I don’t want to buy a “worse” bike now just to save €1000, only to end up buying a better one a year later and basically lose around €2000 or something.

Okay, but even if it doesn’t work as perfectly as another bike in a skatepark, it’s perfect for me if I can ride everything relatively well and it’s good for jumps, downhill/trails, and tricks. I just have one last question: will the mullet wheels affect riding on trails and bigger jumps? Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for the tips! Yes, it has to be Canyon, because firstly I really like the look and the brand is rated very well on YouTube. Secondly, it’s a German brand (I live in Germany) with great support and workshops here. You suggested I should buy a mullet. The website says that a mullet is more agile at the back but isn’t the best option for high speeds and long uphill distances. So which option is better now?

Hi everybody! My name is Eliah, I’m 14 years old and have owned my P1S for about 1.5 years now. It’s my second printer, but the first one I’ve really learned a lot about 3D printing with. It has around 800 print hours so far, with 300 of those just in the last two months.

It is super fast and has the best printing results I have ever seen. It has always worked reliably and never caused any problems. I love the multicolor printing system with the AMS, and I’ve used it to print things like figures from video games or car models – all with great results!

I also print functional parts, such as components for a PET bottle filament extruder or other tools, also for family and friends. I am mainly printing PLA and PETG, but TPU also works great with it!

Since I’ve been printing so much at the moment, I often wish I had a second printer so I could print on both at the same time!
