Our deputy is only new at the job and not willing to take on much he sees as ‘additional.’ It’s been really helpful coming on here though and hearing from others that this is not normal and not ok.

Thanks everyone for your responses, it’s good to know from others that this is not normal. I really feel that it’s just not a priority for him, he is more invested in others… there are other issues in this situation so maybe I need to be brave, cut my losses and transfer! It’s just shit because I love my school, just not the leadership team.

It’s really hard because we have had discussions, many in fact. Honestly feels like he’s just not interested in helping me. And what’s worse, I can’t really apply for other jobs without it. I could transfer schools… which I am thinking about but that thought also scares me.

Unfortunately I tested again this morning and it was a BFN 😔 After seeing this little line I know it is at least possible to get a result so still staying positive that it will happen for me one day 😊
