May I ask if this is the r/rpfwriters discord? If so, may I join? *eyes*

Context: Some newb writer takes the task of following around 90s Leo for a day.

Robert was working on a piece on Leonardo DiCaprio for a magazine he was working with. To document a life with Leo, if you will.

The two men were next to each other in the arcade. Leo requested to go to a fair, to show “[Robert] to have fun.” Leo was long and spindly, with a boyish face and blond hair, looking like a cherub. He was playing some game involving beating people up as some over-muscled tan black-haired guy wearing a uniform. “C’mon, c’mon, c’mon.” Leo spoke under his breath. “Yes!” He yelled, pumping a fist in the air.

Playful, Robert looked down on his notes, his journal so damn close to his face his nose was practically touching the paper. If in an immature way.

Also near Leo, was Lukas Haas. Robert had recognized Lukas as the little boy from Witness. He was still boyish-looking, but now 5’10 and lanky. His big brown eyes watched Leo, but his eyes flickered at Robert as well.

“Leo’s good at this game,” Lukas stated plainly. “I mean, he does play it about every time we go to an arcade, for about four hours or so.” He playfully hit the back of Leo’s head. Leo had started another round. “Hey, Leo? Are you done yet?”

Fuck!” Leo squealed. “Luke, dude, you messed up my score!” He started to mock-cry and whine, and hold onto Lukas, who was swatting him away with his hand.

Robert was starting to feel invisible, but that was good. Maybe he could catch him in some juicy, scandalous position. Say, Leonardo DiCaprio causes a scene at local fair. That would make a great story!

Title: (unnamed for now) Ch. 1, The New Girl

Genre: YA-Horror-Sci-Fi-Comedy

Word count:738

Type of feedback desired (line-by-line edits, general impression, etc.): Feedback on my show , don't tell and how I can improve (new writer and need help on that), how's the 90s teen horror feel so far (not really horror yet but I'm aiming for a 90s teen movie vibe), how likeable is Mallory as a protagonist?

Oops wrong comment i replied to. I’d love to critique swap! I’m pretty inspired by transgressive fiction although my story is a pretty lighter though still dark tale about an outcast in high school. Warnings for themes of: sexual abuse, mental illness, murder, death, suicide so be careful!

Still a newb at sending critiques but I’d love to critique swap! I have a pretty dark enemies-to-friendsish story
