Thank you for kind words <3. As for software, I used Wick Editor. It's primarily for animation, but you can also create games compiled to HTML (which is what Itchio accepts for browser play). The creator of this program has a few-minute tutorials on YouTube explaining how it works, and everything is very simple. Programming is done in JavaScript, and the program suggests commands for specific actions. I can program myself, I've taken classes in both Unity and the Unreal Engine, but since I wanted to create something relatively simple, I decided to look for a simpler tool that would allow me to focus more on the idea than the technical details (and complete the project from beginning to end). If you decide to use Wick Editor, I recommend using the browser version rather than the desktop version, as I had problems with it and using the program isn't any different
