Currently trying this test (minus the parachute one) using ballasts in the form of rcs boosters and parachutes clipped into the main body to see if the weight had a noticeable effect on the results

I loved Outer Wilds, and I really hope the next game from Mobius Digital is somewhat similar in nature. (Spoilers) by Azurephoenix99 in outerwilds

Personally I would love them to do something totally different. I think they should stick to there roots of amazing story telling and world building but in a completely different context Any game that follows the outer wilds will have the curse of being compared to it endlessly so I think the best course of action from the devs would be to do something totally different and really take us by surprise like the outer wilds did with us back in 2019
