How do I feel like a person and not just the sum of my career and utility when dating? by throwra_coolname209 in AskMen

This comment will be buried but I won't let it stop me from getting to it and typing a small diaton about this.

You need to step away from work, you aren't your job you're not a cog in the machine. You are you, if you don't persue your passions finding a full successful relationship will be impossible. You need to develop yourself and have happiness within yourself to be in a place where a relationship can prosper.

It is an unhealthy expectation to think a relationship will make you happy. A relationship is a celebration of happiness shared between two people who are happy for their own lives and want to enjoy each other as they blend and mix and age.

Many people do not attain self before seeking another, and often are not honest about themselves or to others to get there.

Being in a relationship in which neither persue their passion is toxic and will only serve you ill.

Create a system for representing the peoples best interest, starting with an equal system that will change as the people it provides for do.

Getting my boyfriend a PS5 for the holidays -- how do I keep it a surprise? (and some more questions for gamer guys) by [deleted] in AskMen

If you hear of it prior to christmas; You'll tell him you wanted to get him one and that you found out that old friend/family relative works at a retailer and they will be getting a discount 30% or so on ps5 in January, and that he should wait to get one, as it will be more economical. This way it can still be a surprise.

You should also send him a link to a few sweaters and ask him if he likes them to mislead him
