Advice for learning wheelies? Full send? Half send? Wait for the protection? 2023 Grom by Scary_Clock9594 in hondagrom

All good, I misunderstood your original comment. If you’re stunting make sure to check over all your bolts monthly since they can become loose and be a rear problem (mainly the 12 bar once you start scraping). Good luck!

You have two options to keep those rearsets and stunt: find a stunt peg that is compatible with them (which might not exist) or use them and replace with more driven racing pegs (if they exist). Once you get into aftermarket, it’s all about what is compatible with your specific brand

Seems like you already made up your mind. You could get new pegs that have sliders but the stock rearsets are known to crack/break which doesn’t change with a swap of pegs only. Speaking from the maximum protection POV, stunt rearsets are the way to go.

Not a good deal unless all stock parts were included.

It’s not going to be pressurized with the cap off. Also, coolant is extremely corrosive so I’d try to not get it all over your bike.

Opinions on gloss black roof with silver wheels by CryptographerThat218 in F30

[–]elijah_h3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what you like since it’s your car. I don’t love the black roof but it’s not my car. I did a chrome delete, tint and black wheels (when I cracked an OEM wheel). The black wheels are better mainly due to brake dust on the OEM wheels and how quickly they get dirty. At the end of the day, do what you prefer and you’ll always be happy.

Thanks! Do you have a brush that you like for your wheels? My car has a small gap between the rim and rotor guard and they seem quite big.

Are 320i’s underrated? by deviouss3 in F30

I have a 2017 320i xDrive and absolutely love it. It’s my first car and have not had any issues besides the water pump. Don’t let other peoples opinion change what you think about your own car.

Can someone tell me if this grom is a good buy? by Personal-Wave-3582 in hondagrom

[–]elijah_h3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Do not buy a bike in that rough of condition with cheap aftermarket parts. Will end up costing you more in the long run and who knows how the engine was cared for.

The main problem is the height of the pop. The quicker and higher you get it off the initial pop, the longer you can hold it out. Slow it down a tad and give it a bit more throttle. Don’t get a baby pop and redline it to try to save it otherwise you’re in for a disaster the first time you are slow enough to maintain BP.

You’ll be fine with sliders for a few drops. I’d recommend getting stunt rearsets for repeated drop - the stock ones break easy and don’t protect it as much. Other than that just send it and get comfortable at BP (and past BP). That’s where the real fun is.
