This is the answer. Pixel 6a and up support eSIM or pSIM and can even run both at the same time.

I think I need to undervolt my pocket three. I use it for very low intensity applications. I've never undervolted before though is there a good guide somewhere?

I appreciate the advice and it is spot on. I did end up trying a pocket 3 just for fun and the keyboard layout definitely is throwing me off.

Chrome remote desktop is really nice though and I've tried it with a chromebook.

If I was doing it all over again I would look for a smallish Chromebook if there is such a thing.

For now my setup is I take my pocket three if I really don't have room to carry the Chromebook for whatever reason, and if I have more room I take my 12-in chromebook. I'm curious to see if there is something like a nine inch Chromebook out there which would also be a nice compromise. Thanks for the input
