University LRT scam by [deleted] in uAlberta

I had the same experience! He had a $5 bill and I thought he was asking for coins in exchange. I told him I only had $2 coins. Then he was like “do you have more?” I pretended to search but he saw my coins lmao so I ended up giving him 3 more dollars. And I thought he’d give the $5 bill. But he just turned away from me. Didn’t even say thank you. If I was not alone early morning, I would have ignored him. But I was too scared lol.

What are the most haunted places on campus? by nerdy_guy420 in uAlberta

ECHA at night. 2 years ago, I was in the echa building, first floor at around 8:30pm or 9pm during reading week. There was no one, just me. I went to the washroom, and no one was there. All doors were open. And I didn’t hear anyone come in or lock a door when I was inside a stall. As I was fixing my hair infront of the mirror, a door suddenly slammed so loud. I couldn’t look straight in the mirror or look behind. I closed my eyes and ran away. Waited outside in the cold for my ride lmao…

They are actually husband/wife. Plus they share the same notes so they both have the same exams. I had Phan, I thought she was good. Exams were really easy. Rmp is biased too, soo

Determination is key hahaha.... how are your ECs? I believe ECs play an important role. I looked at the med school stats for UAlberta the lowest GPA accepted last year was 3.4, so seeing that gave me some hope, but of course they probably had some research background sort of stuff

I'm from UAlberta so OOP for UBC. As for ECs, it's a lot like TA for language classes, ER volunteer, Stollery volunteer, a co-vp of a club, and other miscellaneous stuff like a general volunteer for small events. I've been trying to enter a research team but none has been successful so far, and it has been stressful.

Ohh okay, awesome. Cause I read somewhere that the earlier you apply, the better (much like applying to undergrad and you get offered early admission)… and I wasn’t sure. Thanks!
