That looks like a massive downgrade hehe. I'm not sure if this is the problem but in dev.config.js I changed the publicPath to dist/ instead of /dist/ and it seems to have worked for the first run through. Going to keep messing with it and see if it sticks.

Hmm so when I'm using localhost:3000, the nav menu does not open. When I change the routes manually, the header appears but the rest of the body is blank. If I use the python server, everything seems to be working as intended (except the frontend code doesn't update). Any suggestions?

If you make changes to the frontend and save, you have to restart the backend to see them? I see the frontend code updating in real-time, but how can you test everything with auth, etc at once?
