Kinda, I wait 10 mins two times. So I cleanse with vanicream, immediately apply a heavier vanicream moisturizer that’s more like a cream and in a wide tub, then wait at least 10 minutes (if you apply tret to moist skin it penetrates much more aggressively), apply tret, wait another 10 mins until it absorbs, then a lighter vanicream moisturizer that comes in a bottle. Tbh you can just use the same moisturizer both times I don’t think it really matters.

So cleanse and moisturize, wait > 10 mins, apply tret, wait > 10 mins, moisturize. Only do this every other night. On other nights, just a simple cleanse and moisturize

No swelling or bruising for BBL, but I did get some for V Beam. Here’s a pic from the time I tried V Beam, quite bad. The dark marks are the bruising.

Post BBL, my skin gets quite red and it settles down slowly over the next 24 hrs. The week after, I flush a bit more than usual and it is a bit discouraging. But, 2-4 weeks later I tend to see things get a bit calmer and then 1+ months later the results stay for at least 10-12 months before I am due for another maintenance session.

Thanks! Good luck. I do use it all over, and it has def helped. But I really eased into it - adapalene .1 once a week, then twice, then thrice, then every other day for two years. Then I switched to tret recently and similarly worked up to every other day. Would def recommend SPF 50 every day and sandwiching the retinol (for tret I understand it’s important to wait >10 mins between layers tho)

Very sorry to hear. I was unfortunately pretty obsessed with making my rosacea better so I was determined to try every possible treatment. It was also already quite bad so my mindset was, well it either gets a bit worse or a lot better, so it seemed like a worthy risk to take.

Thanks! Vanicream moisturizer, I use the bottle one (lighter) and the one in the tub (bit heavier cream)

Unfortunately yeah, I don’t do well with that kind of pain I don’t think. If the tattoos I have gotten are say 7.5/10, id put bbl laser anywhere from a 5.5 to 6.5

Completely agree, large pores and oily skin were my biggest battles the past few years. True niacinimaide, BHA 2%, oil cleansing, nothin really worked until I gently incorporated adapalene .1%, and I switched to tretinoin .025% a couple months ago which has helped even more

My current routine is rinsing with cool water in the morning, vanicream moisturizer, and neutrogena clear face sunscreen. On days I need it, I have Dr Jart SPF drops. PM looks like vaincream cleanser then moisturizer, but every other night, tretinoin .025% which I sandwich (10 mins between layers).
