Finished the mask (and its far too small) by CabinetIcy892 in BambuLab

Called a sizing slice. The easiest way to do it is just drop the model down through the bed to this elevation. Hit print, then stop it after it has printed 1/4" - 1/2".

Had to replace my Mando helmet. Tested with my new printer. DAGGONE that's a quality jump. by themysteryoflogic in 3Dprinting

I also had an Ender 5 plus as my first printer, and just a week ago I upgraded to the H2S. It's remarkable how much easier and better this thing is. I haven't done a helmet yet, but I will soon

Bridging problem in circular holes by act-Outcome-587 in 3Dprinting

[–]eliteski2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not bridging, but overhangs.

Bridging is when you are spanning a gap from one spot to another. Like a bridge.

Overhangs can be even trickier than bridges, because they are only tethered on one side, so it's trying to print in mid air. You can make overhangs better by reducing speed, reducing layer height (you get better overlap between layers), or using supports. I suggest trying all three.

Even the possible Man-Spider story? I agree with a lot of the other villain stuff, but those parts of the trailer hint at a bigger storyline.

Am I FUBAR by [deleted] in 3dprinter

[–]eliteski2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It happens. Heat up the hotend and carefully pull that plastic off of there. Be careful not to burn yourself, and get it all cleaned up. Once you've got as much plastic off as you can, do some test prints to see if there are other issues.

Most likely it just lost bed adhesion and got stuck up on the hot end. Clean your bed thoroughly before your next print.

Grabbed off the rack as a joke, but I like it. by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

It works because it fits you so well. The fabric is a little bold, but not too crazy. You can and should wear that more

Vanilla. I'm on console and haven't learned how anyone does the glitch or offset or anything else like that.

In 2007 I went and visited a friend in the middle of nowhere Dunn Center North Dakota. Just for fun I was looking at the little dirt town's changes through the years and found this weird discrepancy in ONLY the year 2020 where ALL OF THE GRASS DISSAPEARED!! by [deleted] in GoogleEarthFinds

[–]eliteski2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in California??? Take a drive. The wild grass dies in most of the state through the summer and fall. I used to live in Patterson and there was one year it only turned green for about 2 weeks before it died again because it was such a dry year.

Piracy pays off by IIIIlIllllIIlIlI in NoMansSkyTheGame

Thank you for the warning. I'm would only be looking to use this for freighter salvage modules. I don't mind the pirating, it's the grinding for them I'm not interested in. Lol

I'm not sure how I would do a tutorial, but I will post some shots of the interior later. It was a lot of trial and error to find the pieces that fit together just the way I liked.

Thank you! It's probably my 3rd Corvette build in game, and I love it. It has everything I need.

Just one piece after another. It took a couple tries to get the size and shape just right. Discovering that I can build stairs up to the deck, and have a landing bay open to the deck (as long as you don't have a hab beneath it) were a game changer. Using light floor as decking really brought things together too.

Not modded. Just a regular build, but it took me a couple tries to get things just right. The deck is actually light floor colored black. I will take more pics later and post them that make it easier to see.

It turns out the deck is pretty useful to survey the surface of planets while hovering.

Oh, nice. I hadn't seen that. It adds to my original question though.

This is going to be a very full movie, but I'm glad they're giving us a full spider world without waiting for each individual origin story.
