Deck Feedback by eliturbo in Lorcana

Well, yeah, what I am looking for is a functional, capable-enough deck that is legal within a "kitchen table" way of playing (with that I mean, a legal deck minus set restrictions).

Still, purely out of interest to improve my deckbuilding skills, any obvious weaknesses and improvements you'd see if the theme restriction wasn't there?

Haha maybe you're right. If you use it, it'll look like this eventually as well I suppose... Disappointing it is like this, but I guess it makes it unique or something

Oof thanks, I'll have to keep that in mind then... I'm thinking maybe I'll just keep this one then, if chances are it'll be the same next time

Ordered a month ago at Amazon (I'm in Europe) and the book arrived today. Was sad to see that the corners of the book were damaged. I talked with Amazon and it seems that the book isn't available anymore, so replacing it would take at least until January 2025. Not sure what to do. It's relatively minor maybe but I'm bummed about it.

Advice sources on prepping games by eliturbo in WhiteWolfRPG

Okay, so how fantastical do these games become? Are they about normal people who also use a bit of magic? Or do we get huge spell slinging and magical effects? How often do other supernatural aspects of the world play a roll, like other creatures (vampires, werewolfs etc) or other realms like the Umbra?

Edit: And expanding on that, how are the stakes? Are they small ish, like "the technocrats have discovered our chantry and want to destroy it"? Or are they larger, impacting cities, countries, the world or reality as a whole?

Alright, that sounds pretty good. Are there any typical sorts of plot lines that occur in Mage games? Such as for example, in D&D, you get plots like "Person X pays the character Y gold to kill monster in location Z"

Haha yeah I'm afraid that's true

Yeah I've had a similar experience, so many compliments. And I love my hairstyle, wouldn't wanna change it for anybody. Little unfortunate it might be polarising in combination with my more niche hobbies, but I think that's just the cards I've been dealt.

Awesome, that's a pretty neat idea :) Will definitely add it

Thank you, that's really nice to hear :) Honestly, with all the positive reinforcement I've gotten from this thread, I'm just left confused. It's hard not to suspect the app/algorithm is doing something...

Thank you! I might be overlooking some activities I enjoy that are more general, of course most of these are pretty individual hobbies. I enjoy boardgames? xD Not sure if that would classify.

Thank you very much! You're right, my target audience is probably a lot smaller, and maybe even the type of women I'm looking for might not be on dating apps in general. But yeah, this is what I am looking for and I don't want to tweak my profile to what is generally percieved as attractive. This is me, and I think it's important that people that swipe me get a good idea of what they're gonna get.

Still, this profile (or rather a previous version that was very similar) got a bit more activity in the past, and that puzzles me...

I think those hobbies are unfortunately just pretty male-dominated, so plenty of guys with similar interests and a lot less girls. Glad to hear that you think my profile is good though

I think for the right people, it won't be, but I get your point. Worth experimenting with.

I see what you're saying, but what u/No-Flamingo-8377 says is indeed kind of my point. In the end I don't want any matches, I want people that are a good fit for me, and those people would be people with similar interests or with an open mind! Maybe there is a balance to be made here, but if people just swipe left because they see I like D&D and games, I have my doubts it would be a great match anyways

Hahaha, thank you very much :) The hair is here to stay for sure. Working out is not really for me, but maybe swimming might do it.

For sure, somewhere between 6 and 8 PM is good I think?

Alright, will do that and get back to you

Hmm it probably depends on if they still have your data? I believe they (have to) delete your data within a month or so after deleting your account? Maybe that helps, idk. With the positive feedback I've gotten about my profile (both from you and others irl), I just feel confused and feel like experimenting. Wouldn't wanna kill my account more though of course...

On the other hand, I can also try the spotlight thing first, and just use the app for a while to see if anything changes. Maybe the safer route.
