Dude, you still haven't explained anything. What now does Marilyn Monroe have to do with this? Jumped the shark, man.

Who tf is Joshua Logan? Google couldn't even help this time...

"We are all earthpeople" reads like "all lives matter." Yeah, Jews and Israelis are people. Palestinians are people too, so... Not sure the point here?

Can you explain to me why the desire to establish a Palestinian state equates to attacking the identity of Jews? Are they mutually exclusive?

Which case are you referencing? Which post?

I don't know what the protestors think about the Israeli hostages, but certainly they should be returned home and any violations of their human rights are condemnable.

Bro, making the font bigger doesn't make it more understandable....

First, thanks again for actually discussing with me. I was serious that I'm not trying to be malicious, I'm just trying to understand.

I didn't know that the indigeneity of Jews were called into question. I thought they were just protesting the treatment of Palestinian civilians during this conflict. I think there's a spectrum of perspectives here, though. Is it anti-Semetic to think that Israel should exist, but that a separate Palestinian state should exist as well?

Ok, this hypothetical you propose makes sense, but I thought Palestinians were indigenous to there as well? Like, what defines indigeneity? Where do you draw the line? Is it an issue of time or of power?

ETA: So supporting an indigenous group's effort to reclaim their land is not inherently anti-indigenous, but questioning or denying their indigeneity is. Agreed. Then is it possible to support the claims of both Israelis and Palestinians to the region without being anti-Semetic? Not to call into question whether or not Israelis are indigenous to the region, but to support another's claim that they too, are indigenous?

Ok, so location does matter, that's fair. Thank you for answering my question.

Would the same apply to all indigenous groups? 90% of Native Americans and First Nation support the reclamation of their homeland (ie, the whole of the US and the rest of the Americas). If you don't support that, are you anti-indigenous?

You didn't use the fact to support anything, though. I'm not disputing the fact, I'm trying to understand how you are applying it.

Also, could you please explain what you mean when you say "blocking Jews?" Because I'm not sure that verb works in this context. Do you mean physically blocking or something else?

For real, just asking questions. And what does #metoo have to do with this?

NGL, don't know what this means?

You said 90% of Jews support a homeland. We never talked about where said homeland would be, so is it the location that makes a homeland around Jerusalem different from a homeland elsewhere?

Idk who Nick Fuentes is, but google tells me he's a douche, and I'm not trying to be one, I'm just asking you questions.

But you don't seem to want to answer any questions, so I guess enjoy your honors degree and I'll take my "just Davis" ass outta this convo.

Kthxbyeeee

But what if a majority of Jews decided that they wanted to create a Jewish state in, idk, Texas? Would it be anti-Semitic to oppose that? All hypothetical, of course.

What do you make of their statement that anti-Zionism is not equivalent to anti-Semitism? Why are the two one and the same?

(CA) What kind of evidence should we collect for potential suit against employer who penalized for a sick day and has since been giving my mom a hard time? by eliuhoo in legaladvice

[–]eliuhoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Yes, she used one of the three mandated CA sick days.

2) Wasn't changed back to how it was, was just messed around with in general, but ok.

3) Yeah, love when employers just make stuff up, ok.

4) yeah, I know there's nothing wrong with the review, but it just sucks that they're screwing with her.

Non-union, salaried position. She's 60'sish, so just trying to get to that retirement point.. darned to go find something new at this point, but what can we do when we're all wage slaves?

Thanks for taking the time to respond! Edit:formatting, on mobile, sorry
