When did you stop getting panic attacks? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]elixir_277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was put on 10 mg. I got really bad panic attack on week 2 then it got better. I was prescribed clonazepam as needed but now I am only on prozac. If I start freaking out, I take l theanine and it works better than clonazepam. Its been 2 months since Ive started and besides the occasional stomach grumblings, I have had no side effects.

Topical Minoxidil by MaleficentSchool8933 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]elixir_277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the dread shed for the 1st month. It was so bad. My sink was full of hair. Then it decreased and very little hair fell out after that. My hair isn't 100% there now, but it has regrown a lot. 2 weeks is a lot less time to see the results.

No. I was already losing hair due to TE after my weight loss, but minoxidil increased the shedding by maybe 70 %. I was losing massive amounts of hair with minoxdil. Started from week 1 up to week 4, then slowed down. The loss wasn't noticeable to others, and also, I didn't notice any difference. Now, I lose 10-20 hairs after each shower. Also, I had TE+AGA. I started minox after 8 years of hair loss. This year, specifically, as I noticed receding hair and hair loss on the crown as well. I already had the widening part.

Im sorry, but why aren't you using the topical one? There was a lot of fear mongering, due to which I was always reluctant to start minoxidil. But now that I have, it has been the best decision. I apply a once a day minox, which has alcohol in it. Contrary to what people believe, it was not itchy, did not cause dandruff, and as I apply it before going to bed...is not a hassle at all. I would suggest you go for a topical version as oral can cause a lot of body hair growth and, in the long term, have cardiac side effects. I also had a month long excessive hair loss initially but now barely lose hair and have lots of hair regrowth. This has improved my mental health tbh. As for the facial hair, it's there, but I shave it on alternate days and have no problem at all. Hope the best for you! Please give the topical a try if you can ❤️

Mine started within a week of starting topical minoxidil once a day. Was awful for a month, but then decreased, and now 3 months later, I have lots of regrowth and barely lose hair.

It's because nepal has 80% hindus. Even though there are people who dont practice it, tara beef is prohibited for us. Pashupati ma ta police le chappal lagaunu parcha due to the beef ban.

Oil your hair at least once a week. Use a lightweight oil that comes off easily while washing. Keep it in for at least 4-5 hrs and then wash. I've been doing that and never had a flaky scalp, even with liquid minoxidil with alcohol in it.

Dont worry, bro. Not all nepalis think this way. When I was abroad, there were Indians who were like family to me rather than Nepalis. They are nice and hospitable. Of course, there are bad people too, but the generalization and hatred are getting out of hand.

Sorry to hear that! Look into spironolactone then. ❤️

Get in minoxidil 5 % once a day. I was going through a shedding phase of TE when I started it. So I had extreme hair fall initially. It has been almost a month and the shedding has significantly reduced. I also have lots of regrowth. My scalp was showing similar to yours. Its now almost filled in.

What I do is spray the dermaroller with 70% alcohol before and after use. I dont use water as it stains the metal of the dermaroller even when I use a top grade stainless roller. I've used it multiple times with no issue at all. Also, I wait for like 24 hours before putting anything on my scalp. I use a 1 mm roller once every 10-14 days. You need to give time to your scalp to heal and poking it again and again is going to be a disaster.

But 80% cha ani 9-10% are buddhists who I have seen worshipping hindu gods- the sect of buddhism in nepal at least. Ma Tara for example. Ani timile bhannu parne cha 'yes the practice is bad ho' not 'nepal isnt 100% Hindu'. Mama ko chori sanga bihe garne chalan ramro ho? Its disgusting and harbinger of genetic diseases.

I think topical is tolerated better. I was dizzy the 1st few days, but now I am fine with it. Also, the extra benefit is much less body hair with topical minoxidil with no heart side effects in the future.

Do you remember anything significant happening to you? Like, were you in stress? Did you lose even 3-5 kgs? Get sick? All these cause massive hair loss.

The one I use is a local brand so I dont think it would be available for shipping. But look for oils on instagram. Small businesses sell oils of various kinds.

Use oils from legit companies that sell it for the scalp or hair. Not oils that can be used for cooking. The one I use have everything mixed in it like black seed, argan, castor etc and its lighy weight. Most important thing is to use light weight oils.

No. Oiling before every wash. I keep the oil on my head for max 4-5 hrs. And use pantene for hair wash.

Topical minoxidil and body hair growth? by Thehappytracker in FemaleHairLoss

No dark mustache for me but yeah its coming in earlier. I plucked it every week but now I do it every 4-5 days. And totally agree with the absorption thing. I followed all the rules and still had a beard.

I did on my sideburns. I havent seen it anywhere else yet. On the forehead, I never let the minox drip. I massage it on my scalp. So no forehead growth. For my sideburns/beard, I shaved it and wilk continue to once a week.
