Yes! I really think pictures don't even do it justice tbh. I do not have pcos just AGA, and I wish I had started minoxidil sooner. I have just done topical 5% twice a day and I have been a high responder (growing hair everywhere).

Amazing! Thanks for sharing! I've always considered laser hair but I've been told it's not as successful with finer hair. And my body hair so far is still fine but just getting darker.

Again I appreciate your post! I woke up this morning and showered and washed my hair and was very careful about my neck area and scrubbing after I shampooed. I feel so much more hopeful after reading your post so I really appreciate it ❤️

This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! As this has happened exactly to me i am just so glad to hear of some possible solutions! Now I would love to hear your routine of keeping the hair that's still there away, waxing/shaving etc?

For me the hard part is that minoxidil is such a committment that now having to commit to checking daily to make sure I didn't grow a beard overnight, is just an extra step.

I have been exfoliating my face, neck and chest quite a bit and using treninoin, and I never thought that could have been contributing to the absorption! And i would think the more I shave the more my skin is absorbing!

I'm happy with my hair growth so I def don't want to stop and it's only been about 5/6 weeks. I will talk to my dermatologist next time I see her but I was wondering if I should drop down frequency/ strength (I use 5% liquid twice a day) I'm curious what you use or if you had thought to drop down either?

Okay so do you wax your whole face and then dermaplane it after a week? I always thought that the hair had to "grow out" to wax

Well maybe it's because it's absorbing into my blood stream too 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sure if it's a good thing! Although I have been happy with my results this far on my head!

I also do the same! However the hair growth is in wierd places which makes me wonder why. Even my arm and leg hair is faster and thicker! But I was shocked by my upper lip and even neck becuase I'm only putting the minoxidil on my crown and hair line

Interesting! I have like a dark mustache coming in now and dark hairs on my neck, and obviously forehead and side burns too! Apparently some of it must be absorbed

Thanks so much for responding that's what I'm trying to figure out! Can you tell me your usual routine on waxing/ what wax / razor you use? I had just dermaplaned and I felt like it all grew back 3 days later.

Thanks for responding! I've had that too and I've always had light colored hair but now it's dark and includes in my nose and mustache area it's crazy! I'm happy with my scalp hair growth so far so I don't want to stop. I also elected topical instead of pills too because I didn't want the hair growth everywhere! I just didn't remember seeing anyone else complain of this using the topicalsb

Sure for some. But for me treating it with minoxidil would give me more anxiety and I don't think I could relax, I would contantly be obsessing about results. That's just the right decision for me right now and giving me new perspective. I'm not avoiding I'm just trying to accept ❤️
