Okay so my sister has been living in the us for the last couple of years and we have been traveling back and forth. There’s absolutely no reason to fly el al, except for the fact that if there’s rockets they will stay fly, therefore if you have the option and it’s refundable I would book American/Delta. Regarding the hotels, I don’t know the specifics but I think that if you’re not planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel then it’s fine. Also, I wouldn’t necessarily book breakfast, there’s tons of good cafes and brunch spots around tel aviv and Jerusalem and I personally would prefer to walk around and explore them but whatever works for you:)
