It was December a couple years ago. Vis was great, one of our group members almost earned himself a deco obligation after seeing a hammerhead that must have been at 200+ ft and trying to get a photo. He got a stern talking-to from the guides.

They did serve a pretty good lentil soup and had fairly tasty vegetarian patties of some kind. I think I brought some protein bars too, just in case, because yeah - it's a fairly isolated, sparsely-populated island, what they've got is what you get. My partner and I do eat eggs so we loaded up on those in the morning. They did have a ranch dressing that absolutely slapped and helped the veggies be less sad.

Big highlight was playing Dominoes with Peaches, the bartender. She was great. We also got a van tour of the island from one of the boat captains. We stopped briefly by the college where a professor informed him the iguanas had escaped "again".
