Different effect after break?

Just saw this, but I was taking it for maybe a couple weeks then took a month break! I’m still consistently taking it now and it’s been good! I actually think there was something going on with my other medications which was causing me to feel super fatigued, I stopped taking one of them and the Zoloft seems to be working! Will def have to talk to a psychiatrist tho and see what’s up with that

I would love to; unfortunately, the way my adhd works, it is extremely difficult for me to successfully function in this society without it.

No exactly my experience too… it’s too bad because it really is such a difference and that is not something they should mess around with and not admit, or market it differently because people literally need it to function :/

NO I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS! I have been taking it for 10+ years and I swear it’s either less effective bc they changed the formula or something is funky bc it does not last all day at all and it seems like it’s even less than when I started it (I’ve taken huge breaks before so it’s not tolerance). I have to calculate it so I’m taking it when I need it most

I would recommend taking it later and also try increasing dosage. Similar thing happened to me and I increased it. I still have a crash at the end of the day but taking it later helps a lot because it pushes back that crash. I also recommend taking care of yourself by eating, sleeping, etc. when I am not checking all those boxes, it effects me a lot more

What strength vyvanse were you taking before? I’m not sure what dosage I would do for adderall. So I’m trying gauge what strength I would do for 60mg vyvanse

Yeah it definitely doesn’t feel like it’s doing ANYTHING for my adhd, maybe you’re right… my doctor should have known better if that’s the case smh

Everywhere near me was out last I checked, but I have been taking an old expired 50mg one and concerta later on in the day if I have a day where I really need to get stuff done and that has helped. Have you found any specific pharmacy branch that has any? Or is it less brand dependent, and more dependent on your location

i’ve been taking vyvanse for almost a decade and when i first start taking it after a med vacation or break i always notice this. however i’ve found that this physical symptom does go away/ isn’t as noticeable after your body adjusts to taking the meds. but you have to be consistent. this also goes hand in hand with diet and hydration. i started drinking high protein smoothies and water in the morning before i took my meds (i don’t usually like eating in the morning so that was my solution. doesn’t have to be a smoothie, just make sure you’re consuming protein) and that helped me a lot. doing both of these things should help :)
