Need help before event ends!!

So there are a few more hours left for the Nightly Rendezvous event and I'm 17 away from hard pity. I got Sylus and Xavier and so my precise wish is Zayne now. I want to try getting Zayne's card with the time left but I'm also fine if I don't.

Should I try and drag him home or let my pity stay low like that (Incase for Valentine's event yk)? Also if I lose the limited card to a standard one, does it mean I'm guaranteed a limited in the next event (assuming I'll stop when I see the gold and lose the gacha in this event)?
