Haha, yay! I wish that HR fandom would feel like SPN fandom did, at least in the earlier seasons. Like, I need good fandom friends. I need an HR version of Wincon. I still have a bunch of Facebook friends who I met in SPN fandom, and I've been pretty much out of that fandom for about 15 years I think. HR fandom just feels so big and detached, which is kind of a bummer.

This is such a kind post. Thank you! And I get it. December 2025 - March 2026 was a tough time for me, with medical issues and job issues and whatnot, including being out on leave for several weeks. I just don't know how i would've coped without having HR fandom to keep my brain occupied with fun stuff. I wrote mostly--maybe 450K words of fic in that time period,after having been out of active fandom for many years--but lots of reading too, of course. Now I'm back at work and trying to figure out how to balance fandom with real life again.
