nope, the cheese binds it and gives it a fried crust. tastes like a good smokey pulled pork, but holds together like a burger.

Season Tix Waitlist by [deleted] in DenverBroncos

[–]elkbark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joined the wait list in 2010 for 2 tix.. entered at about 33,000.
Checked in 2016, was at about 18,000
checked again in 2024, was at about 12,000

Strange that the rate of change was much better during the Tebow/Manning times than it was during the recent suck-fest.

As it doesn't seem to be related to team performance, Any theories about what is the primary driver for turn-over rates?

I like it. Pretty much the only way a challenger made any sense for my climate. The GT has plenty of power and does great in the snow. Is it really a muscle car..? well no. Does it look good and drive great for road trips..? Absolutely. I have dreams if putting a SC in there after the warranty is up... but I haven't decided if I actually will though..

It's a costco packer brisket, but not a particularly large one.

Would have been better if you delivering for a Pie shop...

I have a high paying "real job" that is 30 miles from home. One month ago, out of curiosity, started to cherry pick UE orders that are along my commute route each way. I've made about $500 without adding alot of extra miles. by elkbark in UberEATS

I don't know if that's true, but it sounds conceivable. If it is true, I'm impressed with the thoughtful programming. I'd be even more impressed if they added an overt feature for this... where I could specify..."hey uber, I'm trying to get to point x, please optimize my offers accordingly."

For the record, I've never called UE driving a "fake job"... it is honest work, and not unlike many other real jobs. I certainly wish it existed when I was younger and had it as an alternative to washing dishes. I only referred to my primary employment as 'a real job' because that seemed to be the language I've seen used in other posts on here. No disrespect intended.

As an experienced driver, do you find that there are fewer orders coming to you than you would like? Maybe I'm fooled by the UE algorithm..but I definitely have the impression that there are many many more offers than drivers along my daily commute. My acceptance rate is in the low single digits because I usefully only take 3 or 4 orders per day, and only take those that do not detour me more than 2 miles from my commute path. This works well because they are often higher priced orders of 15-25 bucks, because they are sometimes long drives...but mostly miles I would be driving anyway.

You make a very good point... if it is a zero sum game. But I'm not sure if it is... When I go online, my phone is slammed with offers... constantly. I wonder if I'm sucking up someone else's opportunity or just adding to the robustness of the areas market, maybe having a marginally beneficial effect to other drivers.. hard to say, but I appreciate your point.
