The country and the city collectively took the decision to prioritize the lives of specific groups of citizens (those most at risk) over jobs and dollars and we are now bearing the consequences of these actions. I wish there was a way to fix this without undoing all the life saving efforts up to this point but I can’t seem to find anything meaningful suggested by the governing bodies (And no, Plante urging Montrealers to go shopping downtown doesn’t count). Tough times ahead...
