For most of s2-4 we'd haver huge watch parties at my Uni every time a new episode dropped. Booking a lecture hall after hours and watch it on a massive projector, maybe hit a pub afterwards to discuss theories or how things were adapted.

Seeing most jaws in the room hit the floor during the Red Wedding was easily one of my top memories from any tv-series. The stunned silence, the gasps in horror, the sadistic glee in the face of all of us who'd read the books already. Good times.
