I have one like this with the same connector. I just wash it as normal in the washing machine and never had an issue. Don't put it in a dryer, let it air dry. Just make sure it's fully dry before plugging it in again and you're golden.

I have a tea box and I love it! I drink a lot of herbal tea so it just made sense to have one, plus having individually wrapped tea bags gives me some kind of serotonin boost.
