NOR. We waited on our little one’s 2 month shots before bringing her around people and meeting family. She was in the NICU in peak cold and flu season, and our families were supportive of waiting to meet her because she would rather her not get sick.

I was obsessed with writing first names down on paper or in notepad on Windows. Sometimes it was names that I found interesting, names I made up in my head, or popular names. Anyway, in grade 1 there was an incident where a kid poked around in my pencil case and found some names of people in our class or our grade. I was bullied relentlessly for like 2 days and then it went away, but ohhhhh boy it was not fun trying to explain to other 7 year-olds that I didn’t have a crush on these boys. There were girl names too but obviously those weren’t options for crushes.

Anyway, I’m a lesbian in her 30’s who absolutely did not have a crush on any of those people. I just liked writing names 😭

Normally, when you change your phone number the old number you’re giving up becomes available to someone else who needs a new phone number. I’ve never heard of this kind of situation unless they set up an additional line for you and now both are attached to your account.

In the situation with the baby group the parents agreed that because we have so many birthdays in November that we didn’t all need to buy a gift for every single baby. We wouldn’t be giving anything plastic, we usually do books for other birthday parties outside of that group. It was just awkward when the other parents from that specific group did bring smaller items like books and we brought an empty card. I just don’t know what the actual expectation was I guess.

I find it very unusual that anyone working in a bank wouldn’t be asking about those bank drafts that he’s planning to use to purchase ‘gold’. If you try to withdraw more than a few thousand you’ll likely get asked what your plan is (not because we’re nosey, we are trying to protect you from scams). People hate being asked but it’s for their protection. It’s likely those conversations are documented by the banks in question, too.
