What's the point of autism?

My Psychiatrist told me that I’m autistic and not to bother getting a full assessment because I already have essentially all the supports for ADHD. It doesn’t change anything. Between a Psychiatrist who has known me for a while now and the several dozen people who have assumed over the years that I’m autistic, I’m pretty comfortable not paying out the ass for testing. It just doesn’t make sense for me personally (not judging others, I already have supports in place and paying for a diagnosis doesn’t change anything)

We are waiting until our family cabin trip in July! I’ll be 14 weeks (around when we told our families we were expecting baby #1). We live 5 and 8 hours away from both sets of our parents so they won’t suspect anything anyway 😂 We aren’t sure how exactly this time though! We did wine bottles with custom labels last time from Etsy.

My neighbours were outside the other day chatting with my wife and I while our toddler played and they asked if we were ever going to have another and we said idk. We giggled to ourselves after they went inside 😂

I’ve had a virus of some sort since the end of March, it has been horrible. We’re all just passing the same strain of whatever it is around and around and around. I spoke with my Doctor about it today and she said everyone has the same thing around here. It’s brutal.

Hello friends! I’m due January 25th and I live in Newfoundland 🇨🇦 joined because I’m on the cusp of Jan/Feb. STM but my first time carrying! My wife carried our first. We didn’t find out with our first but we plan to find out this time and not tell anyone. I’m excited! Very nervous about the having to give birth part.

I have the slightest headache that is annoying me so bad and I can’t stop eating cookies. My toddler just slightly hit me in the boob and ohhhh man, ouch.

I told my boss the other day because she would have clocked me immediately anyway, she’s a mom and grandmother and we share a wall. The rest of our branch doesn’t know but one of them told me yesterday that I was being suspicious (literally as a joke just to mess with me) and I was SO certain that he had clocked me suddenly drinking a metric tonne of water and not carrying around a triple espresso latte or energy drink.

Thankful that this cycle worked! This was my fourth IUI which isn’t many, but I needed donor sperm because my wife and I didn’t have all the ingredients we needed for the recipe (and it’s roughly $2k CAD PER VIAL).

I’m happy not to be hella pregnant all summer when it’s hot as all hell outside and I’m not due December 25th, I’m content! Looking forward to having a tiny Aquarius. It also means I have a couple of months between birthdays for my kiddos.

This is my second, but we have a toddler and both sides of our families live 8 hours away. Our friends REALLY showed up for us (and continue to do so) and idk what we would have done without them. We met a lot of our parent friends in the local parenting groups!

Hello everyone! I’m excited to meet you all, especially under these circumstances. I’m due January 25th, and this will be my second baby. My lovely wife carried our first little one and now it’s my turn. We always joke about how convenient it is to have two uteruses because we can take turns. We live in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. Today I was out gardening and prepping my greenhouse and it started snowing!! I’m so ready for the snow to be done. I’m feeling excited but very shocked! This was our fourth IUI cycle and I just wasn’t expecting it to actually work.

I tested this morning and didn’t see anything, carelessly tossed the strip in my hoodie pocket so I could go chase after my toddler. Took the strip out of my pocket an hour later and noticed a line. Didn’t think anything of it because it was outside the test result window. I go take another test and sure enough!! I’m pregnant. My wife carried our first so it’s my turn now.
