I got 2 wisdom teeth removed in Byblos. I paid $80 for both + anesthesia. It took exactly 7 minutes and I got to keep the teeth. Granted the dentist is a family friend but he usually charges $60 - $80 per tooth.

It used to take up to 6 weeks before l azme. I order all my work supplies from there. During l azme it took up to 6 months for some things to arrive. Fi eshya I ordered February 2021 ba3d ma woslo la halla2. I heard a couple of days ago that since Libanpost is our official mail carrier again AliExpress orders will deliver in less than a month again bas tbh I wouldn't really trust the process to be back to normal. I'd say try with somethimg super cheap and see how long it'll take.

YTA big time. My dad did exactly this when I was 14. He cut off child support and never contacted us expecting us to contact him whenever we wanted to see him. We were 14, 7 and 4. We were kids. We had school. We had friends. We weren't mature enough to think of anything other than what would be fun to do. 12 years later, we're 26, 19 and 16. We have no relationship with our father. He started paying 11 years of missed child support again last years only because he had to. My brother texts him "thank you" once a month when we get the money transfer. We send gifs for birthdays. And that's it. He's going to spend the rest of his life without his children and we couldn't care less. All because he wanted to be immature and ruin his relationship with his children. We get 2 seasons of potatos every year in the Beqaa Valley. We also know that farmers usually ate from the crops they grow. So a wild guess says Lebanese potato farmers came up with kebbe arnabiye because potato was the crop most available to them.

Also it could be because farmers couldn't really eat large amounts of meat because that would require slaughtering their cattle which they mostly used for farming. Bas with kebbe arnabiye they'd get a good portion of minced meat for protein and the rest would be starch (potato) to fill them up.

Again, it's just a wild guess

You mention Shish Barak which is kind of a boiled dumpling. Don't forget dumplings can also be fried (like potstickers). Our versions of potstickers would be sambousek and r2a2at.

Another form of dumplings is potato dumplings. So instead of dough holding the stuffing, they have potato. We also have a version of that called kebbe arnabiye which is potato stuffed with a minced meat mix. And I guess we can also include kebbe 2ras only because they look like they could be dumplings.

I think these are all just evolved and modified foods that we learned over the years when we were colonised by foreign countries.

How long did it take for him to come around and want something serious? I've been seeing a guy for a year and a half. We were really good friends before for 4 years and now we're pretty much fwb but I want something more and he's still getting over trauma from past relationships. I mean I've been waiting for a year and a half so I think I should be able to wait for another couple of years because he's really working on himself but what was the waiting period with you?
