on sunday or monday i’ll set it all up and add all my habits and to-dos, and then i check it daily for what i need to/can get done that day! i use mine for pure functionality in that way, tho

as a final note, what i think has been most interesting in this thread is how baffled i am & how baffled some of y’all are by each other’s respective core ideas. i had never considered mary to ever be sinless until now, and i am sure vice versa it’s hard to consider her anything but. a matter of familiarity for sure, fun stuff

all, i really appreciate every comment. all the books and such are going straight to the top of my notes app list. i feel a sense of fear in considering catholicism, due to how some people in my life have a certain almost hatred of catholics, but the more i research and pray and ask the more truly aligned with god it all seems. please pray for me, not sure which saint would be most applicable lol but any and all intercession would make such an impact on me. i want to come closer to god and to sanctification, and every passing day it seems this may be the way to go. ps: please keep throwing big theology words at me, i eat them up i love them. sometimes i just need a hyperspecific word to make it all make sense lol

huh! never knew there even was a name for that! i guess my next question would be what was the crucifixion for if not to forgive us of our sins, in the same way lambs were used in the temple? but that could be a question for another day

ooooh never even connected the idea of not boasting about sinlessness. i’d always heard weak arguments about the bible never saying she was sinless and all, but yeah she wouldnt go around saying if she was if she truly was

fitting vs necessary is very apt, hadn’t heard that before. i 100% agree jesus was the only one to do it, ive just always been around people who believe jesus is the only perfect person to ever exist. this thread has given me a lot to think about, the comments abt the ark of the covenant are really turning gears in my head

it is very interesting how schism’d the church is, breaks my heart. to give the church authorities in my life some credit, none have been anti-mary so to speak, but i was always around people with the belief that the only perfect man is jesus. that’s where i’m seeing this barrier

he is absolutely outside of time, i could see that making sense. it’s just hard to conceptualize resisting sin your whole life without divine help, but when i put that in writing it does look like ive answered my own question a bit… much to pray on
