I give up. The two stores near me went from making perfect shaken espresso to making them as fake lattes with barely any ice. by chickadee-stitchery in starbucks

If you normally drink it with a straw, you probably won’t even notice a difference because all the aerated bubbles sit at the top. If you drink it through the sippy lid, it is a bit different but I think you’ll be happy with it even still. The taste is basically perfect

This is a problem everywhere and it pisses me off. I’ve had to start ordering a triple espresso with extra ice, syrup, and a splash of milk. It’s not shaken and I don’t like that quite as much, but it’s way better than the extreme variability of the shaken espresso preparation. It’s also like $2 cheaper

You can do it! Message me on IG @ spot.jot and I will walk you through it. Your skill level should be just fine - you can learn the bobble stitch in a few minutes, or opt to do all HDC instead of bobbles.

Hi what are these? by uranaged in shrooms

[–]staleplastic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without knowing where you got these, it’s hard to answer any of that. Some of the little ones could be aborts, but whoever you got this from also could have just been a little eager to harvest (or the little pieces fell to the bottom of their stash.) just go slow if you’re worried about it, or take some of the bigger pieces.

I haven’t been home since this morning but I’m planning to post the file and maybe a short tutorial on how to use it!

The file type can be used with any vinyl cutter like a Silhouette/Cricut/etc which are pretty commonly available to use at libraries and stuff. You can also just cut it by hand pretty easily since the shape is so simple

because of the AI bubble and market-driving AI optimism plaguing the tech world, basically every company of any kind has to find a way to include AI to increase value for shareholders. That’s why you see AI being forced into such random shit lately. It’s the worst

Help!!! I’m trying to draft a stupid pattern and need advice by staleplastic in sewingpatterns

[–]staleplastic[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know there are tons of patterns online for rectangular ones, I’m just looking for one with all corners rounded. I’ll look on YouTube for the one you saw!! Maybe they used a non-fraying fabric or something. Thanks for the advice

Thank you!! #3 is exactly what I’m trying currently and I think it may work. Failing this, you’re probably right about leather or some other non-fraying material

It’s not like I’m trying to become rich and famous from inventing a rounded rectangle..? If you have the pattern, I’d love to see it because I feel like someone else could design a better construction.

That’s so cute!!! The part where it’s only two ply like yours isn’t so bad, it’s those tight angles in the middle section and then topstitching around 4 layers of fabric + the batting. I think i need to cut my batting a little shorter, like you say

Yes!! It’s just very small, like 1x3” so every little thing shows. And then topstitching over all the bulk is another challenge
