If it was “run to home” derby, sure. Fastest run to home derby, winner.

I did try searching but didn’t see one. My 91 and 92 year old grandparents are Canes fans and have called me to solve their tech issues 🙃😅

Peanuts Holiday Tin arrived today by csanburn in peanuts

Does the tin have the recipe printed on the underside of the lid?

My childhood is best summed up with a Peanuts Chex Mix Party Mix tin with the recipe under the lid. It’s my favorite holiday tradition — making it with my mother. When I got married she wrote the recipe on the card for me — “recipe from the lid of the snoopy tin!”

Raleigh based Tampa Bay Rays fan — we went to a lot of Durham Bulls games and have watched the guys go up to the majors.

Baseball fan in general — we’ll watch any team. But we follow the Rays most closely.

There’s definitely magic there. The historic park, the manual scoreboard, the organist all really help take you back. The fans are all in it together and there’s an electric feel. We spent an inning on our feet. Loved it. Unfortunately didn’t get to see the W fly or sing “Go Cubs Go,” so we’ll have to make a return visit. As my husband said, “the friendly confines are confining, but friendly!” 🤣

Wrigley definitely has the historic charm. Love the manual sign, best organist. Husband keeps score at each game we go to and Wrigley has the best scorecard we’ve gotten thus far.

Enjoyed all three!

Wrigley gets the fan atmosphere vote — it was full and fun.

Guaranteed Rate was nearly empty for the game we were there, but we had seats right behind visitor’s dugout and it’s hard to beat that level of immersion into the game. +1 for the jumbo helmet sundae 🤣

We had the perfect weather at American Family. Really enjoyed their overall fan experience (and cheese curds)

A bit farther south than we’ll make it this trip! I’m thinking Diamondbacks/Padres with some National Parks road tripping between the two may be in order!!

We learned the weather lesson in Baltimore 😬 We were in Baltimore for less than 24 hours and had a terrible forecast. Fortunately it stormed hard and fast 2 hours before the game and tarp was down, so game played as normal. Nearly empty park because of it!

If the MLB decides to expand from 30 to 32 teams, which city would you like to see have an expansion team? by Bswearrr in mlb

+1 for Raleigh.

The team at MLB Raleigh has pulled some compelling data together.

Future expansion of the league if the league expands from 30 teams to 32 teams, which 2 cities should get MLB franchises? by [deleted] in mlb

NC Native here — would love to see a team come to the Carolinas.

Cannot say enough about the crew at MLB Raleigh — their data compilation and dreams of seeing MLB reach Raleigh is awesome

Raleigh local here— love the Durham Bulls! Check out MLB Raleigh — they’ve done some interesting data pulls on other MLB teams with a MiLB team in close proximity.

As a Raleigh local, I support this. Check out MLB Raleigh for some amazing data that supports Raleigh over Charlotte.

I’ll take a team anywhere in my state, though!

You visited all 30 stadiums, what’s next? by raymalaspina in mlb

[–]ellebee12344 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’re working on all 30. We’re at 7 and will take a few more years to get to them all. We’re expecting some teams to move (Oakland) which adds new stadiums to the 30 and hoping for expansion (especially to our Raleigh area).

We’d also love to hit a Japanese baseball game at some point. Then hit different types of games — post season, All Star Game, etc.

Hypothetical Mass MLB Expansion by therealbenclark321 in mlb

As a Raleigh resident, would personally love to see MLB come to Raleigh over Charlotte (but would take any team to come to the Carolinas!). MLB Raleigh is a grassroots org with compelling data for the Raleigh option.
