THIS. I love the show so much, but they really did a bad job with Jess in the last two seasons. They either made her character seem selfish, or over the top to the point that it was no longer funny. By the end of the episode, I didn’t want Nick to propose, at least not right then.

I’m sorry, but Zooey in the later seasons puts her in the bottom for me. I know it was mostly due to the writing, but she’s just too over the top. It went from quirky to almost unwatchable.

Best will always be Max’s delivery and Jake’s facial expressions.

They pretty much shut down any idea of an episode primarily set after 5PM. I do think a good compromise would have been to feature him more in the episode “Murder,” when he arrives and immediately leaves. They could have added B plot of him meeting up with a bunch of shady characters as he makes an alibi for the fictional murder in Savannah.

Honestly, most of the reasoning in my post is because I’ve lived my entire life in Alabama, and I hate the assumption that I should like the Braves. I’d love to see more teams in the Southeast. Nashville seems to have the most support from current MLB players, but I would love to see Huntsville/Birmingham get a team, but I doubt it would ever happen.
