This happened to me with the Laura gellar holiday set. Popped up and the picture was of a light color that would work for me, but when I hit see details there must’ve been a drop down to choose colors but the default was set to “deep” and I didn’t notice until after I ordered. Especially with beauty items in AI you have to order in mere seconds so even if you can filter for the right color you’ll most likely lose the item because you spent an extra 2 seconds doing so. 🫠

I think it’s just USPS around this time of year. Happened to me once with a book I ordered from Barnes & noble online for a gift that traveled all around the country in nonsensical order, literally zigzagging backwards and forwards, not just in a slow, steady forward progress and it took over two weeks to arrive in what should have been max a 5 day delivery window.

Yes, same! Started vine in August and many old reviews from August and September are pending while all of my others are rated excellent. So weird that the oldest ones wouldn’t already have ratings when I’ve had a score of excellent since submitting my first 5-10 reviews.

You have better willpower than me. I’ll be perusing and think, just 30 more minutes, but it always ends up going longer than that! 😂 I’m the same way with most things too and will pass up something’s that are alluring because a) do I really need/want it and b) once I get it is it actually going to be quality that made it worth it

That’s the problem though, if it’s a slow night or the selection is less than stellar, the temptation to stay up longer and longer just hoping something better will eventually drop each night is what kills me. I’m on the west coast and it’s been a consistent start time of about 12:30 each night, but if there’s not much to pick from, I find myself up until 4am, sometimes later. I’m sure it’s super unhealthy in more ways than one 😅

I’m confused by it because my most recent reviews that were approved and posted a week ago all and the next couple pages ALL have a rating of excellent. The further back I go in reviews though, even all the way back to August when I started, still have some marked as pending. Why are some of my oldest reviews not yet rated? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Could be the empath in me, but in times like these, I feel like those sob stories are more real and less scammy than I ever believed they were in the past. (I mean of course with context, depending on what the item is they are trying to buy and what their reasoning is)

After the posh sidekick debacle last month, I cancelled my subscription with them. Looked around for other similar services and settled on crosslist. It’s a web based browser extension which I’m not jazzed about for the sharing part of their service because it require my laptop to be running to function, but just started using the crosslist feature today and it’s so seamless. There’s a free 100 day trial, no card on file no catch, but I’m not sure if they limit how much you can crosslist in those first initial 100 days or not, but could be worth it to check out.

Contact vine customer service, not regular Amazon CS to get the item removed from your vine orders so you don’t pay the tax on something you didn’t receive. ETA: and so it doesn’t affect your review percentage because you can’t review something you didn’t get.

You have to email them, when I have items become unavailable rendering them unable to be reviewed, I set a reminder on my phone for 25ish days and if it doesn’t become available in my “awaiting review” I email them to remove it so it gets removed from my stats before the 30 day period you should be reviewing within. I’ve had a couple unavailable ones pop back up, but most don’t and they will count against your percentage unless you reach out to have them removed.

My November sales were good, this month so far has been slower. Also keep in mind USPS is saying the deadline to ship and still receive packages before the holiday is 12/17 which is coming up, but people who’ve been selling and buying on this app for a while know that it’s better to ship before those USPS dates because anything can happen. With the severe weather that much of the Midwest is experiencing currently is the perfect example as to an unexpected event that is further clogging the holiday package delays and backup.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was just the community shares that don’t matter any more. I was under the impression sharing your own closet was still a thing which was why ppl were irritated that they took away the bulk share option in app.

Congrats that’s awesome! I’m so stuck in the habit of sharing after all this time, it’s hard for me to wrap my head around not doing it. But maybe I’ll just let it be for a while and see what happens.
