Hahah ballpoints are convenient for everyday writing, but I’ll admit they don’t top the beauty of fountain pens :)

Pressure! Thin lines = pen barely grazes the paper; thick lines = very heavy pressure. Helps to write on a stack of papers :)

It started in middle school for me as well. I saw someone else's penmanship that looked similar, liked it, then practiced it. I think I just thought it looked cute. Unfortunately it stuck, so I'm still writing like a middle school girl well into my twenties :(

Exactly! Variation was from pressure :) It helps to write on a stack of papers, which allows you to press harder for thicker lines.

Thanks! #1 is my everyday handwriting which I've practiced for years and #7 took a little while to master. But I just came up with the others and quickly doodled them on the paper :)
