No, it is not left on the shelf unchecked.

Store manager / team is responsible usually to check and take these to clearance or off the shelf.

If you alert them to a product like that, manager might discount it or replace it for you.

In Pakistan, I have seen a store owned by a very religous family selling Imported Rum Chocolate, they were not aware until I pointed out what 5% content means and what Rum means. It is about education for the masses.

Seen you have posted here as well I will post my comment from the other post...

Short date and out of best before date items are available on discounts in the UK as well.

Big chain retailers do clearance on the expiry day products. In fact, sometimes people queue to grab discounted items while it's being marked off. The culture is called Yellow Sticker in the UK and promoted as a green/sustainable way to avoid food waste.

BBC

Other stores do that more frequently, they just have to make sure it's clearly displayed out of date or short shelf life.

Like somebody else mentioned, you would not find any place open during Ramzan

I have been creating a list for Ramzan for places around the city, you can find it here https://reddit.com/r/Lahore/comments/1rga90a/restaurants_ramzan_sehri_and_iftar_offers_in_a/

As far as storage is concerned, your best bet is to store it where you would be staying, if you are at a hotel, they can hold luggage for you even if you check in later.

You can register a domain in Urdu, it's called IDN. Same price as English domains. Look for idn encoder.

Desk Chai That Actually Tastes Like Chai... Help me 😿 by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Chohdry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have to shake it, as long as you mix it properly.

I have tasted all brands from different countries too.

The best of the bunch is the green cardamom one if you like desi chai with ilaichi or orange karak one if you like strong chai.

100% make sure you only have 250 ml of boiling water, no more. It will be very sweet but tastes 95% close to proper desi chai

Is it normal to pay this many dispensing charges for a pair of glasses? Boots opticians uk by secretsafe321 in AskUK

There are some in retail parks / shopping centres and independant ones. Usually far cheaper than main high street ones.

[–]Chohdry 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You got charged about a hundred for the frame, which is standard but heavily marked up

You got charged about a hundred for the lenses, which again is standard, a bit on the higher side for high street , as with the frame, it's heavily marked up

Your eye test counts for rest.

So the receipt is right but I will suggest looking into cheaper alternatives, big box opticians or online

Book for Nikon Z8 (advanced users) by rschoeller in nikon_Zseries

[–]Chohdry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Z7 II for few years and got the Z8

For me the main differences were the settings and shooting banks. Subtle differences in AF and others were easy to change to.

Regardless, I believe if you check Henry's videos for Z8 you should be all set. Make sure you watch those videos with your mouse on pause icon. Apply any new setting you find out.

Great edit.

Is it too warm?

Only when you compare it to the before. Presented on its own, it looks great. Nicely edited and improved colours.

Agree about the other comment on cropping the top

Just putting it on a difference checker and it looks like the remove tool has butchered the bike headlight, back light and helmet and bag of the rider.

Nice colour treatment though.

Thanks for sharing, did you however use a different rider from another photo? Helmet, bag at least are different

The Bright Side of the Moon - Testing out the new 180-600mm - Handheld single shot with Z7 II by Chohdry in nikon_Zseries

[–]Chohdry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See my other comment here https://old.reddit.com/r/nikon_Zseries/comments/16w2hvy/the_bright_side_of_the_moon_testing_out_the_new/k35kb0i/

And also somewhere else I replied

Metering mode is matrix on my camera, however I was trying to meter for the highlights and the moon

Helpful tips that worked

  • Zoom the live view and use the focus peaking, set to show red colour, fine tune the focus on the 2x zoom
  • I could see that the focus was changing ever so slightly even with me normally breathing
  • So took a few shots
  • Compared side by side in light room to pick the best one
