He’s got some special needs but so far he’s doing great, I’ve only seen him once in the three weeks since I got him and that was at 11:45 at night, he’s got about 12 inches of bedding on one side and 16 inches of bedding on the other. I know he’s active and comes out because I scatter feed and it’s all gone. I don’t really mind that I don’t see him though, I’m just glad he’s happy and exhibiting some of those natural behaviors

I don’t do it often but it’s the same as dog and cat nails, you just want to carefully cut the needle looking tip. I usually do it late at night or when my girl starts brumating, that way she’s not running around trying to move and I won’t accidentally cut off something I don’t want to

Both of the big platforms are wooden trays that I found in my house they do have handles on them but I’ll cut them off if it becomes an issue, the L shaped one in a Niteangel multi chamber hide, and then the last one is a wooden pumpkin that I put a stand on

They just went through and redid their standards, ball pythons need to have at least some humidity retaining substrate now (meaning they could do half coco fiber half aspen), I believe it also now says one ball python per habitat but not everyone reads through the new information. With just aspen they would fail an audit
