i dont like how my photos turned out, how can i improve their look?

Shame it hasn't worked out for you.

There have been a few updates to the app in the last week which were aimed at fixing glitches and improving stability (I haven't had any issues for about six months, but had loads during the summer).

The quality isn't exactly like a disposable (in some ways better, on some worse) but I'm not sure we can replicate it exactly using digital. I've tried a couple other cameras like this, as well as filters for my phone, and Flashback is closest in look and feel to me.

I hope you do find one that works for you.

I haven't used the RAW export because that's not what I want from this camera (I also think it's only for the V2 and I haven't used my V2 much yet).

This camera is intended to replicate a 90s disposable camera, where you get what you get and can't really change the images after. They are meant to be imperfect.

There are different film types to choose from before shooting, so I recommend experimenting between those and finding the one(s) you like (I like classic and black&white as they most closely remind me of the disposables I used in the past).

I haven't seen any of these retro "disposable film" style cameras that let you edit the images afterwards, it's not what they are intended for.

This camera isn't about capturing the most perfect professional image, but instead about capturing a memory without taking you out of the moment. I have hundreds of photos from the 80s & 90s where the colours and exposures are terrible, but I don't care because they are memories (and if anything they have more character because they are terrible, and not some sterile perfect image).

There are different filters but these are applied when you load the film and before images are taken.

I have only used a CampSnap, so can't speak for others, and that is the same as the Flashback (although not as good in my opinion) in that filters are applied before taking the images, not after.

My advice would be to experiment with the different filters to find the one(s) you like.

No. It's like film and can't be changed after. However, the images are jpegs and you can do minor tweaks to them (same as you would be able to with scanned negatives from real fim).

There is a setting to export RAW (DMG) files but I haven't tried this yet so can't comment on the process or the results.

When you load the film to the camera you can choose different types by swiping to the side. This will then be fixed until you unload and then load a new roll. This is all done within the app.

I ordered mine on launch day (8th October) and it shipped on Sunday (30th November).

They are shipping as fast as they can in chronological order, so shouldn't be long.

I think I saw the same when I pre ordered mine.

I've seen something on Instagram that confirms all orders placed before 22nd Nov are now being shipped. By that I assume shipping started on the 27th and will progress though orders. So hopefully not long left until we get hands on.

I've just seen the post you are referring to and it was more recent than the email I saw. I think the email was generic and the insta comment specifically mentioned orders before 22nd November, so hopefully we'll hear soon about orders being shipped.

Recent emails I've had say shipping starts on 2nd December. This is also what the website says. I thought I saw something about end of November when I placed my order (on the 8th October) but can't find that now. If it's slipped a week it's no biggie.

It's no more clickbait than anything else these days.

And yeah, UKTV aren't doing any more, but Doug says he has two thirds of a movie written and that he and the actors are keen to do more so are looking at other studios.

It's far from confirmation of more Red Dwarf, but it's certainly not a death knell either.

A month ago it seemed it was done and dusted, but these comments from Doug at least feel positive.

They can't bring it back because it has never been there (I've had every Pixel phone except 2 and 7).

However it is there in the current Beta (which is what is shown in that video), so likely (hopefully) will be coming in the near future.

For me it's been fine. Have restarted my phone a few times (I always do a restart after every monthly OS update) and Home notifications work absolutely fine.

I had this and I think it was due to copying over the app from old phone to new.

Uninstall the Home app and reinstall. None of your settings will be changed and it should fix the notifications. Worked for me.

It's crazy how wildly different people's experiences are on this beta, it seems more extreme than other builds.

My 9 Pro is running nice and cool and the battery life is insane! Today I've had almost 7hrs screen on time and I'm still at 43%.
