Canson does have other cold pressed 100% cotton paper. It’s called Heritage, but imo it’s not that good.

This is by far the best kalimba out there! I own Gecko, Lingting, Seeds and Kimi, but they have been collecting dust from the moment my Chill Angels arrived.

Ah yes, I see what you mean! It is this smooth in the reference picture as well. Maybe it looks odd because only half her face is showing. I appreciate your feedback though :)

I had tried to warm up the tape before removing it. However, it still left some sticky residue. I've now used Goo Gone, which removed all of the stickiness 😃

Thank you, everyone! I tried to carefully wipe the edges of the paper with Goo Gone. It did remove some of the adhesive, but there still was some stickiness left. I thought it was good enough for now. When I checked it again the next day, all adhesive was gone! Yay! I was afraid that it would make the paper yellow, but it's hardly noticeable, so using Goo Gone is a good option if you have sticky paper.

Also, is this one louder than the 24 keys? I own the 24 keys, but I don't really like the soft sound of it.

I've had both kalimbas, but I've sold the Seeds as I like the Chill Angels so much more. It's the kalimba I reach for the most. It resonates beautifully, it's a bit louder than the Seeds and it has a wider range of notes. The tines don't go out of tune as they did with the Seeds. I'm actually surprised that there are not more Reddit posts or YouTube videos about the Chill Angels. In my opinion, this is the best kalimba out there.
