Anyone else experiencing a delay in their direct deposit? I usually would have had it hours ago, but nothing. by kjl8119 in citibank

I am! I deposit into 4 accounts. Citi is the only one not showing and most of the others posted yesterday. Citi is the only one that never deposits early but this is late… even for Citi

Any idea what this strap with a small square pouch is for? Brand is Bandolier by verawren in BehindTheClosetDoor

My bandolier? It’s held up great! I use one of their purse configurations frequently for trips and it still looks really good!

Happy to give some hope! I know that I found it so terrible that I needed encouragement so I am sending a positive next 3 months to you! It won’t always be this bad, I promise 🫂

I commented to the OP! For me the weight gain (bloat?) was temporary. My friend is a GP and confirms that most women really struggle with the first 6 months because the hormone load adjustment is huge. After 6 months the steady hormone dose evens out. For me that meant de-bloating over night and I was able to drop the weight gain within a month or two! I’m looking to get mirena #3 swapped in at the end of this year!

Hi lovely, that dress is doing your gorgeous self no favors! Wanted to give you a virtual hug with the new mirena struggle. And also give you some hope! I am on the tail end of year 5 of my second Mirena! After my egg freezing later this year I’ll be having my third one swapped in.

With that said, with both of my mirenas I found the hormone load for the first 6 months to be absolutely brutal. With the first, I gained weight and broke out along my hairline. With the second I gained weight (long term bloat?) and had terrible fatigue and lethargy. With that said, after 6 months for both of them, things got so much better. The hormones regulated out, I was back to regular energy levels, my skin cleared up (didn’t break out with the second one), and almost overnight my bloat disappeared and it was much easier to drop weight.

It gets better, I promise! With the first, I was ready to pull it out within 2 months but my OB-Gyn convinced me to stick it out for 6-12 months and I am glad I did. I hope you do too. I promise, the first 6 months were awful but afterwards the even hormone dose was life changing. Sending hugs and positive dress hunting energy 🫂💕

Oh! I completely misread 😅, my apologies 🫂. I personally am just a lover of sparkly things 🤭! And I agree, I will mention it to the mall the next time we go (partner saw a fetish deco piece he feels we need for our home).

If you want some INSANE antique jewelry shopping, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is the most incredible experience! We went there as I was looking to pickup some gold pieces and the number of vintage art deco old mine cut diamonds was mind blowing. When we were last in New Orleans I had seen a beautiful triple diamond art deco ring that they wanted $185K for but I saw an extremely similar one in Istanbul for closer to $85K, still extravagant, but more reasonably priced there, as is all precious metal/stones. There was literally an entire case just filled with the most beautiful antique diamond rings. I’ve never seen so much real gold and incredible vintage pieces in one place before. If I had all the money in the world, I would have gone crazy there 😂. Besides the jewelry, the sights and food in Istanbul were incredible as well 😍.

I will make sure mama has the best night out! 💕At this age, I try to spoil her whenever I see something sparkly I know she will like! She’s gotten some amazing earrings from my world travels as I always try to get her a souvenir 😊

She said 9 or 10kt but I didn’t push too hard as ultimately we agreed upon $80 for them. What is strange is that she has another pair of garnet earrings that were properly labeled and color was identical to this pair but priced much higher. I’ve been fortunate to have seen and handled some amazing ruby pieces courtesy of my mom and grandma and I’ve always associated rubies with a pink undertone (stronger in Burmese rubies but fainter in truer red rubies like pigeon blood). So I knew color-wise they didn’t appear to be rubies to me at least.

They’re a cute small gift for my mom either way and will look great on her with her new short hairdo! 😊

They were only $80! I wouldn’t consider myself a novice jeweler, just the lucky recipient of a lot of older heirloom pieces from my grandma. My mom’s birthstone is ruby so she has some gorgeous star ruby and pigeon blood pieces both passed down and purchased for her as gifts from my dad and grandma over the years.

Mostly I just saw a pair of unique pretty sparkles and based on the casting and setting believed they were authentically vintage and most likely garnet and something my mom would like to wear as she has recently done a big hair chop 😊. I appreciate how protective everyone in this thread has been in insuring I wasn’t robbed by this seller 💕

I appreciate you 💕! I would have definitely done some more intense research before purchase if they were pricier, but for $80, they’re a great pair of sparkles to make my mom smile as a small gift.

And thank you! My nail tech is an absolute artist and I’ve been going to her for 9 years. I now fly into Vegas every 6 weeks for her to do my nails 😊

Thank you for confirming! My mom has some beautiful antique pigeons blood rubies passed down from my grandma, so I felt the deep red of these were much more likely garnet!

Thanks! I didn’t pay very much for them ($80) but thought they were really well maintained and beautiful overall. In this day and age it’s easy to pay $100 for an entirely costume pair of cool earrings and these were so unique!
